November 2022 we launched group seniors programs that include a chance to see the exhibits and a facilitated art activity. Contact us to book your group in for a visit.

KNOT TYING WORKSHOPS
Two course in practical knot tying have been added. These courses take place outside and teach you essential knots that you can use in your day to day life.

OCEAN WEEK
Monday June 5 - Sea School Drop In at MHC and Explorer Lab 3pm-5pm, ocean themed crafts and activities.
Tuesday June 6 - Willow Point Reef Citizen Science with Discovery Passage Aquarium 1-2:30pm
Wednesday June 7 - Willow Point Reef Interpretive Walk with Discovery Passage Aquarium 1-2:30pm
Thursday June 8 - Free Admission for Ocean Day at the MHC, 50% off admission at the Discovery Passage Aquarium
Thursday June 8 - Sea School Drop In at MHC, Ocean Network Canada, and Explorer Lab 3pm-5pm, ocean themed crafts and activities.

Saturday June 10 - Quarantones concert - Wade in the Water - at the MHC 7pm
The performance by this male auditioned chorus from the Comox Valley features songs ranging from pop hits ”Under the Boardwalk” and ”Let the River Run” to folk and roots classics “Wade in the Water” and “Old Man River”; to sea shanties “The Wellerman”and “High Barbary”; from the sublime “The Stars are with the Voyager” to the playful “Bring Me Little Water Silvy”. We fill out the program with the Celtic “Riversong” and the traditional Scottish  “Skye Boat Song” along with a fewother familiar tunes.
